I’m the kind of person that gets flustered and extremely embarrassed when my finger accidentally hits an ugly note on the piano, or I play the wrong set of chords. But doing those types of things are never a problem around someone who’s patient, helpful, and encouraging; all of which my teacher, Stacey, was to me. I made a pretty big improvement in the six short months I took lessons with her, and I owe it to her teachings. She recognized my interests and what I was looking to achieve from playing the piano and designed her lessons around them. She was a huge help. My daughter started piano lessons with Stacey at 4.5 years old and Stacey has been an amazing piano teacher. Stacey is able to communicate and teach piano in a way that is creative, fun, and easy to grasp. Stacey truly has a gift for teaching children and is very patient. Her enthusiasm and love for piano truly shows when she is teaching. My daughter looks forward to her piano lessons and is proud to show us at home what she has learned in lessons. Even after we moved away from Stouffville, we continue to make the drive for Stacey's piano lessons, she is definitely worth the drive!

Ms. Stacey always has a smile on her face and helps me try again and to not get discouraged when I make a mistake. As a busy mom of 4 and an RN I had always talked about, and dreamed that one day when I was retired and had the time I would take piano lessons. Upon my 65th birthday, in order to spur me on, my adult children gifted me with the first three months of prepaid music lessons with Stacey. Although my husband and I had invested in music lessons for all of our children over the many years, I always felt I had a mind block to learning or understanding how music, especially theory, truly worked. I could never read or understand music, yet I loved music and singing. Stacey is a very talented pianist and piano teacher living in the Stouffville area. I find her very articulate and skillful in her approach to teaching. Her patience and detailed instructions has allowed me to progress more quickly than I ever imagined! I am thoroughly enjoying the lessons sitting under her tutelage as well as the practice time, especially because I am actually able to chord and sing along with my piano playing. When we had to shift to virtual lessons, Stacey’s encouragement and patience in her teaching continued to carry through without compromise.
